Calhoun Capital is the investment platform behind Chase Calhoun Real Estate and Apex Professional Construction. We build, own, and operate real estate in Central Arkansas, and we are laying the groundwork to invest alongside a small group of aligned partners. We are not currently raising on an active offering. This page is an introduction to who we are and what we are building.
Our Thesis
Central Arkansas offers durable population growth, a landlord-friendly operating environment, and a steady need for well-built rental housing. We invest where we already work every day. Because we broker, build, and manage in this market, we see opportunities early and underwrite them with on-the-ground knowledge instead of spreadsheets alone.
The areas we focus on as operators. These reflect how we build today, not an active investment offering.
Ground-up rental communities we build and manage in-house for long-term, predictable cash flow. Our 86-unit BTR project is the current example.
Existing rental property we own and operate across Central Arkansas, the steady base that anchors how we underwrite everything else.

A pipeline of scattered-site infill development across Central Arkansas, entitled and planned. Smaller, flexible projects that add quality housing in established neighborhoods.
Operating Base
An existing portfolio of rental property we own and manage day to day, which anchors everything we build and underwrite.

We invest our own capital in every project we build, and we have financed and repaid millions in bank debt to grow our portfolio. Our outcomes are tied to the same results any future partner would care about, and our track record of performing on our obligations is how we earn trust.
